TEHRAN – Iranian sprinter Hassan Taftian has claimed a bronze medal at the Meeting Stanislas Nancy 2021.
The Iranian athlete finished in third place in the men’s 100 meters with a time of 10.36 seconds.
South African Leotlela Tlotliso won the gold, clocking 10.14 seconds.
The silver medal went to Nigerian Usheoritse Istekiri who crossed the line with 10.35a time of seconds.
Taftian will represent Iran in the 2022 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
