Official: Iran Set to Attend Expo 2020 Dubai
SHIRAZ – Head of Iran-UAE joint chamber of commerce Farshid Farzanehgan said the room is working to prepare the ground for Iranian companies’ participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which had been postponed due to the pandemic.
Farzanehgan said the Expo 2020 Dubai, a grand exhibition that hosts many world states for about six months, is slated for October 1, 2021.
Expo 2020 Dubai is a trade event consisting of art, scientific, cultural and social activities, the official added.
Iran’s pavilion is located at the heart of the Expo 2020 and is expected to attract over 35 million visitors, Farzanehgan underlined.
So, it is important to well present Iranian products and introduce trade opportunities in the country, he added.
According to provincial officials, Expo 202 Dubai with the participation of 200 countries for six months is an ample opportunity for economic cooperation.
