It seems the US is looking for real trouble in Iraq, as is evident by its latest act of terrorism against units of the Hashd ash-Sha’bi on the borders with Syria that left seven people, including a child, martyred and several others injured.
The unprovoked attack by American warplanes came a couple of days after the grand parade of these Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) on the 7th anniversary of the founding of Hashd ash-Sha’bi following a fatwa by Iraq’s senior-most religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, to save the country from the US-backed Takfiri terrorists.
It is also interesting to note that a PMU parade in Diyala was witnessed by Iraq’s interim prime minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, who saluted these anti-terrorist forces as the pride of Iraq and defenders of its independence and dignity.
This acknowledgement of facts and realities may have unnerved the CENTCOM terrorists who aware of their illegal presence on the soil of Iraq, resorted to last Sunday’s act of terrorism against the PMU.
The Pentagon, the US War Department, admitted that President Joe Biden had personally ordered the CENTCOM terrorists to carry out this act of terrorism – probably to boost the sagging morale of the Daesh sleeper cells in Iraq to resume their murderous crimes against the people of Iraq.
Whatever the reason, this folly of Biden, who if there was any wisdom in his aging head would have recalled his terrorist troops back home, is inviting terrible retaliation that will rattle the bones of the Americans.
Iraqi Resistance Forces have pledged revenge in their Monday’s statement, “to avenge the blood of our righteous martyrs and wreak vengeance on perpetrators of this heinous crime”.
For its part, the Kata’eb Seyyed ash-Shuhada group, said: “From now on, we will enter an open war with the American occupation. The first of which is targeting its hostile aircraft in the sky over our beloved Iraq.”
Iraqi PMU forces have got all the right to strike with vengeance at the US occupation forces, since they have no legal right to stay in Iraq in view of the fact that the Iraqi parliament has unanimously passed the resolution for closure of all US bases following the cowardly assassination of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, along with Iran’s famous anti-terrorist figure, Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani in January 3, 2020 by the US criminals.
It is not too late for the American terrorists to evacuate Iraq, rather than risk more bloodshed and the humiliation of returning home in body bags.
