TEHRAN – Hassan Taftian of Iran has claimed a silver medal in the 100 meters event of the 2021 True Athletic Classic.
In the competitions, held at the Stadion Manfort in Leverkusen, Germany, Taftian finished in second place with a time of 10.24 seconds.
Ivorian Arthur Cissse won the gold with 10.19 and Ghanaian sprinter Sean Safo-Antwi seized bronze with 10.26.
Taftian is preparing for the 2020 Olympic Games.
