TEHRAN – Iran won a bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup on Saturday.
Javad Foroughi and Golnoush Sebghatolahi finished in third place after beating India No. 2 team 17-7 in the bronze-medal match.
Russia won the gold medal in the event after defeating India No. 1 team 16-12.
Iran women’s 10m air rifle team and Javad Foroughi in the men’s 10m air pistol had previously won two gold medals in the competition.
Iran had also claimed a bronze medal in the men’s 10m air pistol event.
More than 600 athletes from 61 countries have participated in the competition in Osjek, Croatia.
