DUSHANBE, Tajikistan – Iran have defeated Afghanistan in its second match in the 2021 CAFA U-19 Girls Championship.
The Iranian girls won the match 8-0 courtesy of goals from Roghayeh Jalalnasab, Mohaddese Zolfi and Hasti Forouzandeh in the first half.
Zahra Masoumi, Sara Didar, Maryam Muhammadi, Fatemeh Pasandideh and Jalalnasab scored in the second half.
The tournament has brought Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan together in a round-robin event in Dushanbe.
The CAFA Junior Championship is an international football competition in Central Asia for the member nations of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA).
