TEHRAN - Iran have inched closer to booking a ticket to the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup after beating Qatar by 38 points, 84-46.
The victory pushed Iran to a 4-1 record, moving to the top spot of Group E. A win over Saudi Arabia on Monday at Prince Hamza Hall in Amman, Jordan would propel Team Melli to the continental tilt, where it finished with a silver medal back in 2017.
