CHARIKAR (Xinhua) – Three people were killed and five others injured as a blast struck a vehicle outside Charikar, the capital of Afghanistan’s eastern Parwan province on Tuesday, said a local hospital official. Head of Charikar-based provincial hospital Mohammad Qasim Sangin said that the blast occurred in the Sirahi Hofian area in the afternoon. Local police have yet to make comment on the incident.
This is the second bomb attack on a vehicle taking place in Parwan province in four days.
