TEHRAN (Dispatches) – CEO of Kaveh Pars Holding Hashem Nezamabadi said on Saturday that Iran resumes producing oil-well drilling cement to be the only manufacturer of the product in the Middle East region.
This type of cement is requirement of drilling oil wells and Iran had halted its production, Nezamabadi said.
However, the oil-well cement is now being manufactured by an affiliate company of Iran’s Mostazafan Foundation in such an amount and quality that meets Iran’s needs, according to the CEO.
He underlined that Iran is now the only country in the Middle East region to produce cement class E which is used in deep and high-pressure oil wells. Iran also produces classes A, B, D and G.
By domestic production of this class of cement, Nezamabadi said, the import of the product would be stopped and Iran can export its surplus production.
