TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani called for close cooperation between Tehran and Beijing in confronting the new U.S. “cold war” in a phone conversation with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. Rouhani also called for stronger partnership with China as a world power, regardless of the international developments. For his part, Xi pointed to strategic and growing relations with Iran, and called for efforts to immediate implementation of agreements between the two countries.
