Yemen: Zionist Regime to Suffer More Defeats

SANA’A (Dispatches) – The leader of Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement says the Zionist regime will suffer more defeats at the hands of Palestinians until final victory is achieved by the resistance front.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi made the remarks in a live speech while addressing a ceremony held to inaugurate Ansarullah movement’s summer courses, which was attended by teachers and scholars.
Referring to plots hatched by the United States and the Zionist regime against Muslim nations, Houthi said, “We are facing an aggression supervised by the United States, planned by Israel and Britain, and implemented by their mercenaries.”
On the latest round of military conflict between the occupying regime and Palestinian resistance groups in the besieged Gaza Strip, the Ansarullah leader said, “The Israeli political circles have admitted that what happened in this round [of military conflicts] was a victory for the [Palestinian] resistance and a defeat for the Israeli enemy.”
“The Israeli enemy will suffer more defeats and setbacks, until God gives the Palestinian people and nation a decisive victory and a clear conquest to root out the criminal enemy,” he said.
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said it is prepared to confront any fresh attempt by the Zionist regime to infringe on the holy occupied city of al-Quds.
“Hamas is prepared to stand up to any plot that could seek displacement of the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, divide the al-Aqsa Mosque, change its identity or Judaize it,” Abdul-Latif al-Qanu, the Gaza Strip-based group’s spokesman, told the Sawa radio station on Sunday.
The Hamas’ official said the Palestinian nation kept its defensive choices at hand in case the occupying regime sought to renew its attacks on the al-Aqsa Mosque’s compound that is located in al-Quds’ Old City.
Meanwhile, Secretary of Fatah’s Central Committee, Jibril Rajoub, said that the retaliatory rockets launched from the Gaza Strip shook Israel and its so-called security doctrine, Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported.
During an interview with Palestine TV, Rajoub warned that the battle is ongoing mainly in al-Quds and Sheikh Jarrah as the occupying regime continues its violations.
On Friday, a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian resistance movements took effect, ending 11 days of Zionist bombardment of Gaza during which 279 Palestinians were killed, including 69 children and 40 women.
The Palestinian resistance, meanwhile, launched about 4,000 rockets towards several cities in the occupied territories, causing damage to several buildings, paralyzing life, and killed 12 Zionists.
The senior Fatah official hailed all forms of resistance and called for unity among all Palestinian national factions in order to benefit from the achievements made by the Palestinian resistance.
