TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian teams have defeated their opponents at the Beach Volleyball World Tour 1-Star Sofia.
Bahman Salemi and Arash Vakili defeated Bulgarian pair Georgi Stoyanov and Dimitar Kalchev 2-0 (21-11, 21-11) in Pool A.
Rahman Raoufi and Abolhamed Mirzaali also beat their Bulgarian rival Georgi Bratoev and Miroslav Gradinarov 2-0 (21-9, 21-19) in Pool B.
The competition is being held in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria from May 20 to 23.
