Palestinians are celebrating in Gaza, the West Bank, and Bayt al-Moqaddas with chants of God’s Majesty (Allah-o Akbar) as the illegal Zionist entity was forced to end its ten days of terrorism following a relentless rocket barrage by Resistance groups that took a heavy toll of Israeli economy and left scores of occupiers dead and wounded.
In a most unethical manner, President Joe Biden of the US who shamelessly fueled the crisis with not just statements of support for Israel’s crimes against humanity but a 735 million dollar arms package for supply of the latest precision guided missiles for killing with greater brutality Palestinian men, women, and children, is taking credit for the end of hostilities.
This means there is no guarantee when the Zionist entity will start a new phase of terrorism against the Palestinians, although for the moment the 4,000 plus rockets fired by Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other combatant groups from Gaza have forced the notorious child-killer Benjamin Netanyahu, on the advice of his comrades-in-crimes, that is, the war minister and the heads of Shin Bet and Mossad, to stop his massacre in Gaza that has left over 250 civilians martyred in addition to destroying the infrastructure and making 70 thousand-plus homeless.
There are also no assurances to the people of Sheikh Jarrah against eviction by the Zionists and their repeated assaults on the sanctity of the al-Aqsa Mosque for whose defence the Gazans had launched “Operation Al-Quds Sword”
Another unresolved issue of the ceasefire – said to be the initiative of Israel’s friend, President General Abdel-Fattah as-Sisi – is the question of accountability and whether or not the Zionist entity will be punished for its crimes and pay war indemnity to the victims.
These factors warrant the Palestinian Resistance to be on high alert and to speedily embark on replenishing and upgrading its missile stockpile, along with other means of defence, which Resistance Forces throughout the region are willing to do without any delay, for the sake of peace.
At the same time, the Palestinians need to distinguish between friends and foes, rather than being deceived by regimes which are allied with the occupiers of their homeland and have openly turned traitors to the cause of liberation of Islam’s former qibla (focal point of prayer).
The US can never be trusted and neither can the UN be relied upon, or for that matter the European Union and the Arab League, since none of them have ever called for justice in its real sense for the Palestinian people and peace in the region that requires the eradication of Israel.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, as the firm and fraternal friend of the Palestinians, appreciates the several letters written by Hamas and other activists to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, whose proposal for referendum to end once and all the chronic question of Palestine in a peaceful manner is known to all.
The people and leaders of Palestine should also be grateful to the people and the legitimate Sana’a-based government of Yemen for their unfaltering support for the struggle to liberate Bayt al-Moqaddas.
As a reciprocal measure, the Palestinians should now openly support the heroic campaign of the popular Ansarallah Movement against the aggression of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which are now bosom friends of illegal Israel.
