Islamic Revolution Continues its Enlightening Mission

Kayhan Int’l Cultural Desk

Heartiest felicitations dear readers on the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and start of the 42nd year of independence for the glorious Iranian nation.
The 11th of February or Bahman 22 of the Iranian calendar is an immortal day in not only the history of Iran but in the chronology of world civilizations.
It was the day in 1979, when after the Ten-Day-Dawn ushered in by the return home from 15 years of exile of the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the Sun shone brightly on the horizon as the nation threw into the dustbin of history the British-installed and American-backed Pahlavi regime and with it ended over 2,500 years of monarchic rule.
Glory to the soul of Imam Khomeini (RA), who had rightly remarked: "Our Revolution was explosion of light”.
The light which changed global equations by presenting Islamic rule as a role model for all those seeking freedom and independence, has today spread all over the region and beyond, to the extent that the dastardly denizens of the dark, such as the Great Satan (U.S.) and its devilish minion the illegal Zionist entity, ever averse to the dazzling light, are indulging in the most desperate forms of terrorism in a vain bid to plunge the world in darkness.
"They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah shall perfect His light though the faithless should be averse.” (Holy Qur’an 61:8)
They will not succeed, since as is evident by the multimillion rallies the Iranian people have continued to stage at every occasion over the past 41 years, it is the grassroots support that ensures the steady march of the Islamic Iran towards the pinnacles of progress.
It is utterly wrong to compare the Islamic Revolution with the so-called French Revolution of 1789 that was soon followed by the reign of terror and subverted in less than 15 years by Napoleon Bonaparte’s despotic rule.
It is also erroneous to draw comparisons with the Russian Revolution of March 1917 which the Bolsheviks hijacked in the next seven months in October to impose the dictatorship of the communists.
The key to the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and its spectacular continuity for over four decades now in the face of the most intricate plots of its enemies, is in fact the following Hadith from no less a personality than Imam Musa al-Kazem (AS), the 7th Infallible Successor of the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA):
"A man from Qom will rise and invite people towards truth. Around him will gather people like slabs of iron (of iron-resolve), who will stand firm against strong winds and storms, and will never get tired of war. They know not fear and have trust in Allah. The outcome is for the pious.”
So, how can the U.S. undermine such a divinely inspired revolution through its military and other plots, including inciting a few hundred vandals, hypocrites, and traitors from time to time to indulge in violence, arson, murder, plunder of public and private properties, and the chanting of blasphemous slogans!
That was the reason that Sage of the Age (Imam Khomeini) had confidently said: "The U.S. cannot do a damn thing”
These words echo not just in Iran till this day, but also all over the region, in Iraq, in Syria, in Lebanon, in Yemen, in Bahrain, in Arabia, in Afghanistan, in Palestine, and other places, where Washington has resorted to all forms of state terrorism but failed to suppress the resolve of the people to fight it and its clients, and nullify their conspiracies.
As we prepare to hold massive nationwide rallies tomorrow by renewing our allegiance with the goals of the Late Imam Khomeini’s movement, by torching as usual the U.S. and Zionist flags and effigies of the terrorist Trump and the racist child-killer Netanyahu, we recall the inspiring words of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, which he had expressed last year on the 40th anniversary by announcing the start of the second 40-year phase of the Islamic Republic, with emphasis on several aspects of progress and development of the nation, including science, research, economy, industry, agriculture, and lesser dependence on oil revenues as outlined by the Resistance Economy through usage of all existing capacities, in order to defeat U.S. state terrorism.
