Iran’s Arvand Free Zone Exports Hit $1.2bn
TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Deputy head of Arvand Free Zone Organization Seyed Ali Mousavi has said that Iran witnessed non-oil exports from Arvand Free Zone exceed $1.2 billion in eleven months.
Mousavi said out of the total number, $938 million of exports reached Iraq through Khorramshahr and Shalamcheh borders.
This figure, the official revealed, indicates a significant boost by 23 percent compared to results seen a year earlier.
Mousavi added "In this period, $93 million worth of non-oil products were exported from Abadan port to the Persian Gulf littoral states, registering a significant 91 percent hike as compared to the same period of last year.”
