30 Tons of Yellow Cake Shipped to Isfahan
TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Some 30 tons yellow cake have been transferred to a uranium conversion facility (UCF) in Iran’s central city of Isfahan, the country’s nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi said on Wednesday.
The uranium concentrate power produced in Ardakan was transferred to Isfahan UCF, Salehi said at a nuclear factory in the city in the central Yazd province. The UCF in Isfahan is now working with full capacity, he added. Iran extracts uranium ores from Saghand-1 and Saghand-2 mines to produce yellow cake.
