TEHRAN (ISNA) – Iran Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Education and deputy Minister of Education and Science of Armenia emphasized on cooperation between the two countries in the field of medical education.
In a meeting with Armenia deputy minister of education and science Vahram Mkrtchyan, Iranian deputy Health Minister for Education Dr. Bagher Larijani stressed that Iran’s medical universities have a lot of capacity to cooperate with Yerevan.
"Iran and Armenia are two friendly and neighborly countries and Tehran is ready to cooperate with Yerevan in the field of medical sciences,” he said.
Highlighting the high level of medical education in Iran, Dr. Vahram Mkrtchyan hoped that Armenia could have cooperation with Iran in the fields of exchanging professors and students and holding training courses.
