There was a ghostly silence in Palestinian cities as the entire marketplaces stayed closed on Tuesday in protest to US Vice President Mike Pence’s pernicious pilgrimage to the illegal Zionist entity, preceded by his stopovers in the capitals of Egypt and Jordan in order to test the regional waters, as the Israelis rejoiced, while the heads of states in both Cairo and Amman played poodle to the Sancho Panza sent by Don Quixote to repeat lies upon lies.
What could the poor Palestinians do in the face of the great betrayal of not just their rights but of the Islamic sanctities of the Zionist-usurped land of Palestine by fellow Arabs, except for burning US and Israeli flags?
If Egyptian President Abdul-Fattah as-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah had an iota of self-dignity they would have ruled out any visit by a senior US official and not humiliated themselves further, especially after what Donald Trump had done by declaring the occupied Islamic city of Bayt al-Moqaddas as capital of the illegal Zionist entity.
The fact is that both of them wanted to be true to their salt, rather than feeling concerned about the plight of the Palestinians or the desecration of Islamic sites.
How could they object to their masters who are the real power behind their thrones?
It is obvious General Sisi would never have been Chief Executive of historic Egypt if he hadn’t backstabbed the only elected president in Egyptian history, Mohammad Morsi, in exchange for the blessings of the Zionists and the Americans, and of course, the fistful of petro-dollars provided to him by Saudi Arabia – Washington’s Majordomo in the Middle East.
As for Abdullah of Jordan, it is clear he is more British by blood than Arab in descent and more detached from Islam and Muslims than any other contemporary head of an Arab state, in view of the undeniable fact that the spurious state of Jordan which rules over an overwhelming majority of Palestinians, is like Israel and Saudi Arabia, a creation of London, and consequently an American base in the region.
So those Palestinians deceived for decades by the impractical and impossible two state solution to the chronic question of their occupied homeland, can virtually do nothing except rave, rant, chant, and burn US-Israeli flags and effigies, while the US and the Zionists, in complicity with the Saudis and other Arab clients, continue to dismantle and destroy whatever remains of the Islamic-Arab culture and identity of Palestine.
An interesting point to note was the lack of participation in the anti-Pence protests by the Salafis of Jordan and the Takfiris of Egypt, or for that matter the newly installed Daeshis in the Gaza and the West Bank, who have declared war on the Palestinian Islamic Liberation Movement, Hamas.
In such a hopelessly divided situation of the Arab World, Pence played according to script during his 48-hour stay in the illegal Zionist entity, outdoing the Jews in his devotional chants at the so-called Wailing Wall, and to the applause of the avowed enemies of Jesus and Mary (peace upon them), lying with gay abandon in the Knesset that ‘Israel is the land blessed by God’.
He shamelessly said everything the Zionists wanted to hear, vowing to shift the US embassy to Jerusalem (occupied Bayt al-Moqaddas) sooner than planned, and then religiously renouncing the JCPOA with claims of either forcing Iran to agree to more restrictions on threats of cancelling it.
Pence is as insane like Trump. There is no doubt about it. He is living in a fool’s paradise if he thinks all the weapons and wealth of the US would save the Zionist entity from its fast approaching doom.
For the moment, the Americans, the Israelis, and their Arab clients may rejoice at the magnitude of their crimes against humanity, but if only they had foresight, their joy will be short-lived.
The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to support the righteous in Palestine in the region and all over the world, with firm conviction that the promise of God is with the truth of Islam and not any deviated creed, which means falsity has no chance of survival.
