RIO DE JANEIRO (hurriyetdailynews) - Turkish heavyweight grappler Taha Akgül defeated Iran’s Komeil Ghasemi in the final game of the men’s 125kg freestyle wrestling competition in Rio on Aug. 20, becoming Turkey’s first gold medalist at the Rio Games.        
The defending world champion, Akgül defeated Ghasemi 3-1 in the 125-kg freestyle for his first Games title.
