Law of Jungle
MIZAN: The Saudi-led and U.S.-backed war on Yemen is a desperate attempt to preserve status quo at the expense of everyone else in the Middle East. The delusion seeks to make state terrorism universal under the pretense of fighting it, and to make the law of the jungle instituted and regularized under the mantle of the rule of international law.
Countering Iran
SIASAT ROOZ: Western powers support the military operation in Yemen being conducted by Saudi Arabia and its regional allies. They are desperate to portray this U.S. bidding as a counter to Iran. They are desperate to attribute this aggression to internecine conflicts of various types too, including historical animosities between Shias and Sunnis. These are cute words that no one in his right mind will ever buy them.
Forgotten War
VATAN EMROOZ: The United Nations or the so-called international community should hang their heads in shame. They have all largely pontificated over a non-existent Iran-Saudi proxy war at play in the impoverished nation of Yemen. Reports from the ground highlight the deepening crisis for the country's 26 million residents, largely forgotten and caught in the cross-chairs of an unnecessary war.
Empire of Bases
ASIA: The United States has invaded and occupied Yemen's strategic Island of Socotra in the Indian Ocean and is now building its biggest naval base there. This is while the colonial scheme has no UN blessing and certainly no consent from the Yemeni government. Now we all understand why its vassals invaded Yemen in the first place.
