Report: Iran’s Oil Tanker Arrives in China With 2 Million Barrels of Crude

TEHRAN – A very large crude carrier (VLCC) carrying 2 million barrels of Iranian-linked oil has arrived at a Chinese port after a voyage of approximately three and a half months.
According to TankerTrackers, satellite imagery has confirmed the vessel’s arrival and docking at a Chinese port. The tanker had departed Iran around three and a half months ago.
The arrival comes after a prolonged interruption in Iranian crude shipments reaching China.
According to some reports, citing data from Kpler, Vortexa and TankerTrackers, no Iranian crude cargoes had successfully reached China since the U.S. reimposed its naval blockade on July 14.
Iran exported more than $16 billion worth of oil in the first six months of 2026.
