U.S. Military Raises Official Death Toll in War on Iran Again
WASHINGTON – The Pentagon has raised its official death toll from the war with Iran to 23 service members, adding two “non-hostile” fatalities—one from illness, the other under investigation—according to an update.
Of the total, 11 were killed by enemy fire and 12 classified as non-hostile, with 865 wounded since the war began in late February. The Washington Post reported last month that actual deaths exceeded disclosed figures.
