Organizers Pull Dakar Rally From Saudi Arabia for 2027
RIYADH (Dispatches) -- Dakar Rally will not be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027, organizers said on Sunday, citing “recent developments in the region.”
The FIA said the decision was “exceptional and one-off” and was taken in close coordination with the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, with the support of the FIA and FIM. No further details were given.
