Fajr Jam Gas Refinery Boosts Gas Condensate Output 50%
TEHRAN – The managing
director of Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company said the refinery produced 1.678 million barrels of gas condensate in the first half of this year, a 50-percent increase over the same period last year.
According to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Hamid Khedri stressed the importance of growth in condensate output, adding that the 50 percent rise was achieved while the refinery was also carrying out major turnaround projects, a sign of its technical capability, careful planning and the staff’s sustained efforts to keep production stable.
He said that in this period, in addition to the 1.678 million barrels of gas condensate, the refinery produced more than 7.345 billion cubic meters of gas and nearly 8,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
Pointing to the role of skilled personnel in meeting production targets, Khedri said coordination among the operations, maintenance and support departments, along with staff commitment to their duties, has been a key factor in sustaining output and advancing the repair projects.
Khedri also described compliance with health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements as essential alongside production goals, and stressed carrying out operational and maintenance activities in line with safety standards to protect human capital and equipment.
He named sustained, stable production in the second half of the year as one of Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company’s key missions.
