Spain’s PM: War on Iran Has Cost Europeans Over €100 Billion
MADRID (Dispatches) -- Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran has cost Europeans more than €100 billion, with ordinary people bearing the economic burden.
In a post on X and remarks after the European Council summit in Brussels, Sánchez said war opponents were proven right, citing rising fuel costs, and announced a package worth over €12 billion to protect affected sectors and citizens.
