Ghalibaf: Bessent Deserves Nobel for Proving Time Is Irrelevant
TEHRAN -- Iranian Parliament Speaker Muhammad Bagher Ghalibaf took aim at U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Wednesday over failed predictions about Iran, suggesting he deserved a “Nobel in Practical Physics” for proving time is irrelevant.
In a post on X, Ghalibaf listed past U.S. deadlines — “They have nothing in 2 weeks,” “Wells explode in 3 days,” “Economic D-Day” — all of which he said had passed.
