Tehran to Host ‘INVEX 2027 Exhibition’ in February
TEHRAN - The secretary of ‘INVEX 2027 Exhibition’ announced that the conference and exhibition covering the banking, stock exchange, insurance, and investment sectors will take place in Tehran on February 4, 2027.
Hussein Abdeh-Tabrizi stated at the press conference for the Banking, Stock Exchange, Insurance, and Investment Exhibition (INVEX 2027) that the event would also observe the Tehran Stock Exchange’s 60th anniversary.
He added that although Iran’s capital market has not yet grown in proportion to the national economy—with its dollar-denominated value estimated at approximately $100 to $120 billion—a crucial point is that the necessary investment instruments have been designed to cater to diverse preferences and varying levels of individual risk tolerance.
Noting that 50 specialized sessions covering capital markets, insurance, stock exchanges, privatization, and private sector participation in the economy would be held during the event, Abdeh-Tabrizi also announced sessions focused on artificial intelligence and the future of the economy and capital markets.
Emphasizing the need to define Iran’s share and strategy regarding the future of the artificial intelligence market right now, he identified artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and their impact on the capital market as key themes of INVEX 2027.
As a capital market expert, he highlighted the future of brokerage firms in the time of AI development as a fundamental question regarding the stock market’s future, noting that there are unknown factors concerning AI’s impact on stock trading that require expert analysis.
