ESCALATING ISRAELI GENOCIDE

Six-Year-Old Girl Killed in Gaza; 41-Year-Old Beaten to Death in West Bank

GAZA (Dispatches) -- Israeli strikes and gunfire killed at least three Palestinians across the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank on Sunday, including a six-year-old girl, as medics reported continued violations of a ceasefire in place for nearly a year, health officials said.
In central Gaza, an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle south of Deir al-Balah, killing one Palestinian and wounding at least 10 others, some critically, according to medical sources.
Separately, a six-year-old girl died of wounds sustained when Israeli forces opened fire inside her displacement tent in Wadi al-Salqa, south of the city. The child was among thousands of displaced families sheltering in makeshift encampments along the coastal strip, where humanitarian agencies say conditions remain dire.
Additional casualties were reported in Gaza City, where an Israeli airstrike struck near the Engineers Syndicate in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, wounding several people. Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the coastline.
Witnesses said Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward displaced persons’ tents in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, as well as in the al-Qarara and Sheikh Nasser neighborhoods.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said hospitals received nine bodies and 18 wounded in the past 24 hours, raising the total death toll since October 2023 to 74,237, with 175,206 injured.
The ministry said a large number of victims remain trapped under rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to ongoing military operations and damaged infrastructure.
In the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that 41-year-old Raafat Khairi Ahmed Abu Khalil was killed at the Anab checkpoint east of Tulkarm.
Local sources said he was detained by Israeli forces and beaten, though the Israeli military did not immediately comment.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA identified him as a captain in a Palestinian Authority military training institution and an international taekwondo referee.
His death brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank since October 2023 to more than 1,000, according to Palestinian health officials.
The deaths come despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel that took effect in October 2025. Palestinian health officials say Israeli violations of the truce have killed at least 1,454 Palestinians and wounded 5,090 others since then.
The United Nations has warned that the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains catastrophic, with widespread destruction of homes, hospitals, and schools.
