TEHRAN -- A senior IRGC commander said Friday that Iran’s armed forces have made major advances in ground, air, air defense and naval technologies, with “surprises” in store for enemies.
Major General Mostafa Izadi said U.S. forces have retreated more than 500 kilometers from the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman out of fear of Iran’s ballistic missiles, adding that regional states now see the U.S. presence as a source of insecurity, not security.
