DAMASCUS (Dispatches) -- 
Israeli forces pressed ahead with a new wave of incursions, shelling and arrests across southern Syria on Wednesday, as a UN truce monitoring team inspected the site of a previous Israeli bombardment in the Yarmouk Basin.
The UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) team examined damage near Dabbet al-Maghur in the western Daraa countryside, where an Israeli shelling on September 21 killed approximately 15 livestock. 
The observers documented the incident for an official report but could not meet the owners, who were absent during the visit.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces shelled Hamriya Hill near Taranja village in the northern Quneitra countryside. No casualties were reported.
Wednesday’s operations followed a day of intensified Israeli military aggression across the south. An Israeli force of five vehicles raided Zubaydah village in central Quneitra countryside as students were heading to school, causing panic among residents and parents. 
Israeli troops detained a young man from al-Hurriya village in the northern Quneitra countryside, with no information on the reasons for his arrest or his whereabouts.
Israeli forces also raided several homes in Ma’ariya village in the Yarmouk Basin of western Dara’a, conducting searches amid intensive drone flights over the area. A military force positioned itself on the road linking Ma’ariya and Abidin villages. 
In Khan Arnabeh near the industrial zone, Israeli troops stopped and searched passersby before withdrawing.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Israeli forces established a checkpoint between Ein al-Nuriya and Khan Arnabeh in Quneitra province, and reported that a force of two military vehicles had earlier infiltrated from Tal Abu al-Ghaithar gate toward Saida al-Hanut village.
Separately, armed clashes between two families erupted in Beit Ara village in the western Dara’a countryside on Wednesday, leaving one woman dead and a child injured. 
Local reports said the fighting stemmed from a longstanding dispute that escalated into an exchange of gunfire inside the village. The injured child’s condition remained unclear, and no arrests were immediately confirmed.
The violence came amid mounting documentation of Israeli violations. Monitoring by Anadolu Agency and the Sijil Center recorded Israeli violations on at least 150 days through mid-September, including bombardments, incursions, raids and aerial activity across Quneitra, Dara’a and the Damascus countryside.
