TEHRAN - Four Iranian gymnasts have qualified for the individual apparatus finals in the men’s artistic gymnastics of the Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan.
In the rings event, Siavash Siahi placed sixth with a score of 13.866, and Mehdi Ahmadkohni finished eighth with 13.663, securing spots for both Iranian gymnasts in the final.
Arman Khodaei placed fourth in the pommel horse event with a score of 14.400, advancing to the final.
Mehdi Olfati also reached the final in the vault event, finishing third with a final score of 14.083—derived from two attempts scoring 14.966 and 13.200.
Muhammad Reza Hamidi placed ninth on the horizontal bar with a score of 12.833, becoming the first reserve for that event’s final.
The pommel horse and rings finals are scheduled for Thursday, while the vault final will take place on Friday.
