WASHNGTON (Dispatches) – U.S. President Donald Trump’s government has prepared sweeping sanctions against “the entire” International Criminal Court (ICC) and plans to announce the measures “soon”.
Washington has made no secret of its aim: U.S. officials want the ICC to drop its arrest warrants against Israeli leaders, issued in November 2024 over war crimes in Gaza, and to abandon its past investigation into American troops in Afghanistan.
