Israeli Forces Shell Quneitra Woodland, Spy Aircraft Fly Over Dara’a
DAMASCUS (Dispatches) -- Israeli occupation forces shelled woodland near Bir Ajam village in the northern Quneitra countryside, continuing incursions into southern Syria in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, Syrian media reported Sunday.
Israeli reconnaissance aircraft also flew over the Yarmouk Basin area in Dara’a countryside. Separately, Syria’s defense ministry under former Daesh and Al-Qaeda deputy Abu Muhammad al-Jolani held funeral ceremonies for 11 personnel killed in an explosion at a military site in Dayr al-Zawr.
