Israeli Forces Kill More Gazans, Conduct Mass Kidnaps Across West Bank

GAZA/RAMALLAH (Dispatches) -- Israeli forces killed three Palestinians, including a child, and wounded several others across the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning, while simultaneously conducting a sweeping kidnap campaign across the occupied West Bank and allowing settlers to carry out attacks on Palestinian homes, farms, and water infrastructure.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian man was killed in an Israeli bombardment targeting the al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, while a young girl succumbed to injuries sustained from Israeli gunfire north of al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
In the north, a young man was killed and others injured in a drone strike west of Jabalia refugee camp. Another young man was critically wounded by Israeli army fire east of al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza.
A woman was wounded by Israeli fire in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, sustaining a gunshot wound to the mouth.
Israeli tanks and artillery heavily shelled the al-Shakoush area southwest of Khan Yunis, while gunboats fired shells off the coast of Gaza City. In the northern Strip, Israeli forces carried out building demolitions amid ongoing shelling and low-altitude drone flights.
The attacks constitute continued violations of a worthless U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025. According to health data from Gaza, 1,386 citizens have been killed and 4,784 injured since the agreement took effect.
Israeli forces also launched a broad raid campaign across the occupied West Bank at dawn on Saturday, kidnapping 15 Palestinians, including a woman and three brothers.
In Ramallah, criminal Israeli forces stormed the village of al-Mughayyir, raiding homes and assaulting young men. In Jenin, Israeli forces stormed the dormitories of the Arab American University and arrested a citizen.
Settler attacks escalated across the territory. In al-Mughayyir, settlers fired live ammunition at Palestinian homes. In Barqa village east of Ramallah, settlers attempted to burn a home and threw stones.
South of Hebron (Al-Khalil), settlers set fire to an agricultural structure and scrawled slogans calling for the killing of Palestinians. Settlers also attacked the main water pipeline supplying the village of Adqiqah, cutting off water to approximately 700 residents.
In Khirbet al-Marajim south of Nablus, armed masked settlers surrounded a Palestinian home.
The Commission Against the Wall and Settlements documented 2,030 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank and Al-Quds last August alone, including 628 settler attacks that injured 164 citizens and uprooted 21,508 trees.
