TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping’s regional initiatives, saying Tehran views them as reflecting a more accurate understanding of global developments than approaches commonly advanced in Western countries. 
Araghchi made the remarks after consultations with Chinese officials in Beijing, referring to Xi’s Global Development, Security, Civilization and Governance initiatives as important frameworks for addressing international affairs.
