Theran – Iran’s Hussein Vafaei has advanced to the main draw of the 2026 International Championship snooker tournament after defeating a representative from Hong Kong in the qualifying rounds.
Vafaei faced Ka Wai Cheung of Hong Kong on Friday, and qualifier for the 2026 International Championship.
In the match, held in Leicester, England, Vafaei defeated his opponent 6–1 to secure his spot in the main draw.
The main draw matches of the 2026 International Championship will take place in Nanjing, China.
