ICB Chief Heads to Turkey for Islamic Central Bank Governors’ Meeting
TEHRAN – Central Bank of Iran Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati has left Tehran for Istanbul on Sunday to attend a meeting of central bank governors from Islamic countries.
Hemmati is scheduled to participate in the meeting and hold talks with officials from participating countries aimed at deepening and expanding banking and trade cooperation.
The talks will also focus on developing new mechanisms for trade exchanges between the parties.
