BEIRUT (Dispatches) — An Israeli drone strike killed one person in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, Lebanese state media reported, as Israeli forces continued daily attacks across multiple areas.
The drone fired a guided missile at a motorcycle on the Marj Harouf-Zabdine road in Nabatieh district, killing its occupant, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported. 
Israeli warplanes struck Wadi Zibqin in Tyre district and Wadi Al-Salouqi toward Shafra in Bint Jbeil, while artillery shelling targeted multiple border areas. 
Israeli forces carried out explosions in Al-Qantara and Al-Mansouri south of Tyre as drones flew at low altitude over Baalbek and surrounding villages.
The attacks have systematically destroyed civilian infrastructure. On Sunday, Israeli strikes destroyed Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa and damaged government offices. 
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun warned that the attacks “exceed repeated breaches and hamper the cessation-of-hostilities deal,” noting they caused damage to the Ministry of Finance building and decimated a hospital.
The Norwegian Refugee Council said the recent wave of attacks demonstrates the June agreement “has struggled to hold as civilians continue to be killed”. 
Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported 27 people killed and 69 wounded between September 5 and 7, including children, women and paramedics. A strike on a residential building in Kfar Roummane on Monday killed nine people, including two infants, while a drone targeted a civilian vehicle killing two paramedics.
The June 26 U.S.-brokered agreement has been widely condemned in Lebanon. Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri described it as “hybrid, unfair, rigged, inequitable, and not worth mentioning”. 
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem rejected it as “futile, humiliating, and disgraceful”. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed deep concern over escalating Israeli operations and “scenes of massive destruction,” calling for Israel’s withdrawal.
UN peacekeepers recorded 528 Israeli projectiles fired between Thursday and Monday, with 62 airspace violations on Sunday alone, among the highest daily totals since June. 
Since March 2, Israeli attacks have killed at least 4,381 people in Lebanon, including 261 children and 399 women, according to Lebanese health authorities.
