TEHRAN -- Iran on Tuesday inaugurated two major desalination facilities in the southern province of Bushehr, marking a significant expansion of the country’s water infrastructure in a key industrial and energy corridor.
Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi oversaw the commissioning of the plants in Asaluyeh and Bonak, highlighting the strategic importance of securing sustainable water resources for both local municipalities and the region’s heavy industries.
