SANA’A  — Yemen’s armed forces, led by the Ansarullah movement, announced on Tuesday the execution of a large-scale military operation targeting strategic economic and military installations deep inside Saudi Arabia. 
The operation, which involved dozens of ballistic missiles and drones, was described as a direct retaliation for an intensive three-day Saudi bombing campaign that killed civilians in Yemen.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for Yemeni forces, confirmed in a televised statement that the strikes successfully hit Saudi Aramco facilities in the cities of Abha, Najran, and Jizan, as well as the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. 
Saree described the attacks as “precise and direct,” saying 
they inflicted significant damage on the targeted facilities and the air base. The operation marked a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict, demonstrating the Yemeni military’s capability to strike deep within Saudi territory.
The Yemeni operation was launched in response to 121 Saudi airstrikes across several Yemeni provinces over the preceding 72 hours. The provinces targeted by Saudi Arabia included Ma’rib, Al-Bayda, Al-Hudaydah, Ta’iz, and Al-Jawf.
A key catalyst for the retaliatory strikes was a particularly deadly Saudi attack on a central prison in Al-Hazm district, Al-Jawf province. 
According to Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population, the attack on the correctional facility killed seven people, including six inmates and a child who was visiting the prison. 
Seven others were wounded, including a female visitor, as search-and-rescue operations continued at the site. 
The targeting of a prison with civilians present drew sharp condemnation from Yemeni officials and underscored the humanitarian toll of the Saudi campaign.
Concurrent with the military operation, senior Ansarullah officials issued stark warnings to Saudi Arabia, stating that the kingdom’s vital facilities are now considered legitimate military targets and that no place in the country is safe.
Hizam al-Assad, a member of Ansarullah’s political bureau, declared on Tuesday that “oil-producing areas, industrial sites and vital facilities across Saudi Arabia are no longer safe”. 
He further warned that the escalating threat could have devastating economic consequences for the kingdom, stating that the “future of investment in Saudi Arabia is at risk of being destroyed”. 
The warning signals a potential shift in the conflict’s dynamics, moving beyond purely military targets to directly target Saudi Arabia’s economic interests in retaliation for Riyadh’s crippling economic blockade on Yemen.
Another Ansarullah official, Muhammed al-Farah, reaffirmed the movement’s stance that Saudi Arabia remains Yemen’s primary adversary, continuing to fund mercenaries to sustain its occupation and blockade. 
He reiterated that the equation of “blockade for blockade” will persist and that the Yemeni armed forces are fully prepared to target Saudi economic installations should the scope of the conflict widen.
Brigadier General Saree emphasized that the Tuesday operation is just the beginning, vowing that Yemeni forces will continue their operations deep inside Saudi territory. 
“We will continue our operations deep inside Saudi territory, target its military buildups, and consolidate the equation of ‘blockade for blockade’ until the aggression stops and the blockade on our dear country is lifted,” Saree declared in his statement. 
This commitment to a “siege for siege” policy underscores the determination of the Ansarullah leadership to maintain pressure on Riyadh until their demands are met.
In another warning, Hizam Asad, a member of Ansarullah’s political bureau, vowed that the Saudi regime will soon receive a “lesson it will not forget” for its 12 years of “terrorist aggression” against the Yemeni people. 
He asserted that the response thus far has been insufficient and that the Yemeni armed forces’ future response will be “substantial” and will catch the Saudi enemy by surprise.
Saudi authorities confirmed that the Yemeni missile and drone attacks on Tuesday injured at least 73 people in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran. 
The Saudi Energy Ministry also reported fires at energy facilities in the southern region and said some operations at the targeted sites were temporarily halted, highlighting the tangible impact of the strikes. 
On the ground, Yemeni forces achieved major strategic breakthroughs at the expense of Saudi mercenaries across multiple fronts, inflicting heavy blows on them. 
The most significant development came in the western Ta’iz countryside, where Sana’a forces took control of the 55th Infantry Brigade belonging to Tareq Saleh’s forces, capturing more than 300 soldiers along with all weapons and armored vehicles in the camp. 
This follows reports that Brigade 55 of the Saudi-backed forces has fallen completely, marking a major victory over the mercenaries.
On the Ta’iz front, Yemeni forces captured key strategic areas including Jabal Nu’man, the western heights of Bani Bakri, and multiple strategic hills and mountain ranges overlooking vital supply routes. 
The capture of areas in the Maqbanah district and Al-Kadha region threatens to sever supply lines of Saudi mercenaries, preventing them from dispatching reinforcements to Ta’iz. 
According to field sources, Saudi mercenary forces and their families have fled the cities of Muqbanah and the Al-Kadaha region following the takeover by Yemeni armed forces. Reports indicate at least 105 Saudi-backed mercenaries were killed and dozens wounded in the past 24 hours alone.
The most intense fighting has erupted along the coastal axis around the city of Hays, south of Hudaydah, where Sana’a forces have advanced toward the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait. 
Clashes in the Barasha mountain range and Jabal Debs—described as a strategic area—have resulted in heavy blows to Saudi mercenaries. The fighting along the Red Sea coast has been described as some of the most intense in recent years.
Yemeni military media released high-definition footage showing domestic ballistic missiles obliterating Saudi weapons trucks arriving at the Al-Wadi’ah camp in Hadramaut province, vaporizing military supplies intended for mercenary factions.
The Yemeni armed forces also launched multiple missile attacks targeting Saudi mercenary positions in Al-Mukha, with reports indicating at least 14 ballistic missiles were fired from the Jabal Baadan region.
Farah stated on X that Saudi Arabia remains firmly at the top of Yemen’s enemies alongside Israel, condemning the kingdom for funding mercenary networks to protect stolen resources. 
He emphasized that Saudi Arabia will remain Yemen’s primary enemy, continuing to mobilize forces and finance affiliated elements in Yemen to consolidate occupation, dominance, and siege.
