Timidity or Treason, the Judiciary Should Probe
By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer
A millennium four centuries and ten lunar years ago, the forces of Islam were deprived of a resounding victory. Not by the enemy but by cowards and traitors within Muslim ranks, who out of fear of life and of course, of bribes received from the opposite side.
Yes, the reference is to the War of Siffin, where Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (AS), the Commander of the Faithful, the Legitimate Heir of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), was forced to agree to unjustified arbitration and stop his valorous general, Malik Ashtar from delivering the final blow to the undeserving claimant to the caliphate, Mua’wiyh ibn Abu Sufyan.
The dissenters, known in history as “khwarej” or outcasts from Islam, did such disservice to the Ummah on the pretext of preserving the interests of Muslims that in a few years, this same timid and treasonous mentality also forced the Prophet’s elder grandson Imam Hasan Mojtaba (AS) to hand over rule of the Islamic realm to this notorious enemy of Islam, Mua’wiya.
The tragic result was the heart-wrenching martyrdom of the Prophet’s younger grandson Imam Husain (AS) in 61 AH and the derailing of Islamic rule from the Holy Qur’an, and centuries of misrule, until the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 under the guidance of that Sage of Age, Imam Khomeini (RA), who rightly labelled the enemy of all humanity, the US, as the ‘Great Satan’.
It is indeed a matter of regret that today after 47 years of resistance and victories against the devilish powers, the timid and the treasonous have again raised their “khwarej” heads to try to dent the solidarity of the Iranian people that has defeated the might of the US.
It is the duty of judiciary to probe whether those advocating reprieve for the criminal Donald Trump from the losing war of his own making, are merely timid people afraid of death, or are on the payroll of the CIA and Mossad.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has proved its mettle with the support of the Iranian masses and the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, following the martyrdom of his venerable father, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (RA).
It is now on the verge of victory. The American and Zionist terrorists are scared, yet instead of supporting the Leader some timid and treasonous elements in our own midst are trying divine the people and hand over victory to the enemy.
Such people are not just the enemies of the Iranian nation but the enemies of Islam.
