TEHRAN - The head coach of national basketball team Manolopoulos has announced the names of the players for the Nagoya Asian Games.
Arsalan Kazemi, Arman Zanganeh, Muhammad Jamshidi, Navid Rezaeifar, Mobin Sheikhi, Peter Girgorian, Mehdi Jafari, Matin Aghajanpour, Ali Sharifi, Salar Monji, Khashayar Ali Akbari and Mehdi Heydari will play in the event.
Iran’s national basketball team is in the same group as Qatar, Chinese Taipei and Jordan in this competition. The schedule of the Iranian national team matches is as follows:

Iran - Qatar at 4:30 AM
Saturday, September 21:
Iran - Chinese Taipei at 4:30 AM

Iran - Jordan at 4:30 AM
The 5-a-side basketball competitions of the 2026 Aichi Nagoya Asian Games will be held from September 19 to 29.
