Two Iranian Referees to Officaite Taekwondo Competitions at Nagoya Asian Games
TEHRAN - Two international Iranian referees will officiate at the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games.
At the invitation of the Asian Taekwondo Union, two international referees from Iran have been invited to judge the poomsae and kyorugi competitions at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
Hafez Mahdavi, former head of the Taekwondo Federation Referees Committee, and Hashem Aghaei will be Iran’s international referees in the taekwondo competitions at the Nagoya Asian Games.
Mahdavi has a history of judging at the 2018 Jakarta and 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. He has also been present at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics as a taekwondo referee representative for our country.
The Asian Games referee coordination meeting will be held in Nagoya on October 27 and 28, and the poomsae and kyorugi competitions will be followed up on October 29-30.
