BEIRUT (Dispatches) – Hezbollah on Saturday condemned the Lebanese government’s negotiation strategy with Israel as a failure, stating that ongoing Israeli attacks across southern and eastern Lebanon have killed at least four people and wounded dozens in the past 24 hours.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that Israeli strikes targeted multiple locations in the Tyre and Nabatieh districts in the south, as well as the Bekaa region in the east. Among the casualties in Tyre were six rescue workers, three women, and two children, according to ministry figures cited by local media.
In a statement circulated on Saturday, Hezbollah said Israel is conducting a campaign of “killing, shelling, destruction and systematic blowing up of homes and villages” aimed at erasing inhabited areas and destroying conditions necessary for life there under “flimsy pretexts.” 
The resistance group said the attacks are occurring amid “absolute international silence and blatant American complicity.”
Hezbollah rejected President Joseph Aoun’s strategy of direct negotiations with Israel, a framework brokered by the United States on June 26. The group said continued Israeli occupation and daily strikes have rendered any claim of progress through diplomacy “meaningless.”
“The continuation of the occupation, aggression, and the spilling of Lebanese blood” has exposed the failure of the existing framework, Hezbollah said in its statement. The group noted that the recent release of some Lebanese prisoners, “while important, cannot serve as a pretext to overlook continued aggression, occupation and killing.”
Hezbollah said the Lebanese authorities’ approach has brought Lebanon “nothing but shame and disgrace,” arguing that it has only served to “consolidate the occupation” and allow Israel time to achieve its military objectives. The group called the current negotiation track “absurd, illegitimate and unconstitutional,” stating that it provides Israel cover to continue its attacks.
The group also pointed to U.S. political and material support for Israel, stating that the attacks are intended to pressure Lebanese authorities “into implementing agendas whose objectives are well known, even if the price is dragging Lebanon into an internal strife.”
Hezbollah called on Lebanese authorities to “reassess their calculations,” abandon internal disputes, and return to “unifying national principles that protect Lebanon’s sovereignty.” 
The group appealed to all Lebanese people to “stand as one behind a unified national position” to preserve the country’s strength and resilience against Israeli attacks.
