NEW DELHI (Dispatches) -- Iran’s top judicial official on Friday used the BRICS judicial leaders’ summit here to double down on strategic partnerships with both China and Russia, calling for deeper legal and technological cooperation.
Judiciary chief Gholam-Hussein Mohseni Ejei met separately with China’s Supreme People’s Court president Zhang Jun and Russia’s chief justice Igor Krasnov, emphasizing that stronger judicial coordination between Tehran and its two major allies could serve as a cornerstone of broader strategic relations.
In his meeting with Zhang Jun, Ejei reaffirmed Iran’s “determination” to expand relations with China, stressing the importance of fully implementing bilateral memoranda of understanding and closer exchanges of legal and judicial expertise.
“China and Iran have extensive and strong relations, and we are determined to expand our ties with China,” Ejei stated.
The Iranian judiciary chief highlighted technological cooperation as a key avenue for collaboration, particularly the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in judicial affairs. 
He said China’s scientific capabilities, combined with Iran’s domestic capacities, could unlock new opportunities for joint progress.
Zhang Jun welcomed the opportunity to meet Ejei again, recalling their talks in China last April as “deep and constructive.”
“Despite all the regional and international ups and downs, China and Iran have always maintained healthy and stable relations, always helped and cooperated with each other,” Zhang said, expressing hope that the two countries could further strengthen their strategic cooperation.
The Chinese judge also praised the resilience of the Iranian people during recent wars and expressed optimism that bilateral relations would expand across all fields.
Ejei, for his part, declared that the world is moving toward a “new world order” in which China is playing an important role—a direct rebuke to U.S. dominance on the global stage.
In his separate meeting with Igor Krasnov, Ejei struck an even more confrontational tone, framing Iran-Russia coordination as an essential counterweight to American hegemony.
“Strengthening shared strategic capabilities and fostering deeper coordination between Iran and Russia can play a highly effective role in restoring stability to the region and the world,” Ejei said.
He emphasized that through synergy, Iran and Russia could use their “vast potential and actual capabilities to counter threats and, together, create a strong bulwark against the excessive ambitions of the unipolar international system.”
Ejei hailed Russia’s “constructive” stance on Moscow-Tehran ties and pointed to the importance of practical steps toward a transition to a “just” multipolar world system “in which the national sovereignty of countries is protected from the influence and illegal interference of aggressive powers.”
Referring to the “illegal and unjust sanctions” imposed against Iran, Ejei declared that these measures “were designed to undermine the stability and power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” 
However, he insisted that through the steadfastness of the Iranian nation and its strengthened defensive capabilities, “the United States and its allies have failed to achieve their objectives and are now seeking to retreat after bringing about their own defeat.”
Krasnov hailed the Iranian nation’s courage and steadfastness, noting that both Iran and Russia face politically motivated measures and unilateral sanctions.
“We have a serious determination to develop and strengthen relations and interactions between Russia and Iran,” Krasnov said, inviting Ejei to visit Moscow. He also proposed concluding memoranda of understanding on electronic judicial services and smart justice.
The judiciary chief also used his visit to meet with Islamic scholars and religious leaders in New Delhi, calling on influential figures worldwide to work together for global peace, justice and prosperity.
“Let us work together for global peace,” Ejei urged, warning that failure to confront aggression and war crimes could embolden perpetrators to launch further attacks.
The Iranian judiciary chief called for collective efforts to establish peace and improve living conditions worldwide, saying Iran wants “peace and prosperity for all humanity” in a world free of discrimination, exploitation and colonialism.
