Israeli Fire Kills in Gaza as UN Blasts ‘Shocking’ West Bank Killings
GAZA STRIP (Dispatches) -- Israeli forces launched fresh air and artillery strikes across the Gaza Strip early Friday, targeting areas east of Gaza City, the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, and northern parts of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
In the south, at least one Palestinian was killed and three wounded by gunfire north of Khan Yunis. In the occupied West Bank, the UN condemned the “shocking” killing of two Palestinian civilians—Omar al-Naasan, 19, and Khalil Shehada, 16—in the village of Al-Mughayyir in escalating settler violence.
