Sayyadmanesh Scores Against Widzew Lodz in Poland League
TEHRAN - Iranian striker Allahyar Sayyadmanesh has scored for Lech Poznań a gainst Widzew Łódź in Polish league.
Lech Poznań, which had secured qualification to the Europa League stage just three days earlier, started the match against Widzew Łódź with its strongest possible lineup.
The first goal was scored by a Lech Poznań player. Kozubal capitalized on a brilliant pass from Walemarek on the wing and, as he ran into the penalty area, simply placed his foot perfectly.
Fifteen minutes later, Walemark assisted again, but this time, Sayyadmanesh finished. The Iranian fired the ball from a tight angle straight through the legs of the intervening Drągowski, extending the lead.
Karol Świderski responded quickly to Lech Poznań’s second goal. Early in the second half, Mariusz Fornalczyk added another goal, and the score was level.
The key moment of the match proved to be stoppage time. Bartłomiej Drągowski made another fatal error in his own half, and this time he was unable to save the game. The Widzew Łódź goalkeeper left Luis Palma alone with an empty net, and the Polish champions’ player capitalized on the gift.
