BEIRUT (Dispatches) -- Israeli 
airstrikes, shelling, and widespread detonation of civilian infrastructure in south Lebanon have escalated as Tel Aviv continues to occupy the country.
“Enemy artillery shelling targeted the town of Mansouri a short while ago, from enemy artillery positions in Bayyada and Shaama, south of Tyre,” Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported on Tuesday morning. 
Hours earlier, on Monday evening, massive Israeli detonation operations targeted civilian homes in Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Srebin.
Three consecutive drone strikes also hit the town of Mansouri and the Al-Mashaa area late on Monday.
Video footage from earlier on Monday showed massive blasts caused by Israel’s controlled demolitions in the town of Houla, south Lebanon. 
Tel Aviv has openly vowed to erase all border villages and prevent the return of hundreds of thousands of Lebanese civilians.
Israeli occupation forces also blew up several more homes in Taybeh and other areas. In Habboush, Israeli cluster munition fire killed a child.
The escalation came after Hezbollah renewed its rejection of U.S.-Israeli demands and Lebanese government pressure to surrender its weapons. 
It also renewed its position rejecting Lebanese-Israeli direct talks and the unconstitutional framework agreement Lebanon signed with Israel in Washington earlier this year.
The disgraceful deal stipulates that Hezbollah must disarm before any end to Israeli attacks or withdrawal of occupation forces, without obliging the terrorist Zionist regime to anything. 
It also bars Lebanon from filing legal complaints against Israel, which has brutally massacred over 4,000 people and displaced over a million since March.
The Lebanese resistance movement has vowed to “collapse” the deal.
Nabih Berri, Lebanese parliament speaker and head of Hezbollah ally Amal Movement, has also rejected the agreement. Berri said Monday that Lebanon will “never” surrender its right to pursue legal accountability against Israel for “genocide crimes.”
He emphasized that countering ongoing Israeli aggression demands “a unified national approach free of sectarian calculations,” warning that the “true target” of the campaign is the destruction of Lebanon’s sovereignty and civil peace, rather than any single political faction.
Berri explicitly rejected the June framework agreement and warned against engaging in direct negotiations with Israel, particularly while still “under fire.”
Questioning the effectiveness of past diplomacy, he asked, “What have seven rounds of negotiations achieved? The areas under occupation have expanded, destruction has increased, and the number of martyrs has risen.”
Days earlier, Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem released a statement vowing continued resistance. “We will remain in the field,” Qassem said on Saturday, while vowing to confront the U.S.-Israeli “project” for Lebanon.
