Military Warns U.S.: Leave Region or Face Stronger Response
In a statement, the two military bodies said that despite official declarations by some regional countries that they would not allow the U.S. military to use their territory, airspace or waters against Iran, U.S. forces were still using those countries to launch attacks on Iran and some Iranian military sites.
The statement said Iran respects the national sovereignty of its neighbors but will not tolerate any violation, adding that its armed forces have demonstrated their ability to deliver a much heavier response, citing attacks carried out the previous night by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iranian army.
“The occupying U.S. military has no choice but to leave the region,” the statement said, warning countries facilitating U.S. aggression against Iran that the IRGC and army will act together to strike the source of any aggression.
It also warned the United States against testing again the resolve of Iran’s armed forces and people, saying they have already experienced that resolve several times.
