Leader’s Message Jolts Conscience of World Muslims

“Whoever does not care about the affairs of the Muslims is not one of them; and whoever hears a man calling out, ‘O Muslims [help me]!’ and does not respond, is not a Muslim.”
The above is one of the many statements of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) emphasizing Islamic solidarity and unity of the Ummah to ensure the welfare of Muslims, resolve their affairs, uplift their conditions, and protect them from the evil of their sworn enemies.
In every age and place, ulema, intellectuals, politicians, economic experts, cultural figures, and all others, have emphasized the monolithic nature of the followers of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
History bears testimony that whenever Muslims closed their ranks they were victorious, such as the liberations of Bayt al-Moqaddas from the crusaders, and whenever they disunited the enemies overcame them and humiliated them.
Today there is crying need for Islamic unity. If we do not heed the words of wisdom of the Seal of Messengers, do not end indifferences towards each other, and continue to prostrate at the altar of the enemies of Islam, then we should admit we are not Muslims.
This is indeed the sorry situation today. Unless we summon the courage to throw away the yoke of the US and the illegal Zionist entity, the conditions will get worse.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in his message to the nation and to the Ummah worldwide yesterday stressed this important point by pointing to the plots of the sworn enemies of Islam and Muslims.
Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei in his message marking Islamic Unity Week, said: “The criminal rulers of the United States and the Zionist regime are not only the enemies of the Iranian nation but also hostile toward the entire Muslim Ummah.”
He advised the rulers of Islamic countries, particularly those in West Asia and the Persian Gulf region, to know their real enemy, as well as recognize its plots and confront them.
“The remedy for the problems of the Muslim Ummah lies in unity of purpose, friendship, and cooperation in the pursuit of goodness and righteousness,” he added.
This was also the message of the 40th Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran where ulema and intellectuals from all over the world, including Shi’a and Sunni Muslims had assembled to awaken the Ummah to the dangers of Zionism and imperialism.
Several speakers deplored the hypocrisy of the Arab regimes in West Asia in ignoring the call for Islamic solidarity by the Islamic Republic and providing military bases to the US to attack Iran.
This is the undeniable reality of our neighbours who allowed the Americans and Israelis to kill our people, including school children, and to bomb our infrastructure.
Are they really Muslim in the light of the Prophet’s sayings?
The Leader’s message leaves open the door of return to the fold of Islam for them. Unless and until they repent of their sins, kick out the Americans, and rally to the aid of the Palestinians for liberation of Islam’s former qibla, the al-Aqsa Mosque, they would deprive themselves of forgiveness of the All-Merciful Creator.
